Brighter Stays stands out through our holistic approach to children's care, combining professional expertise with a nurturing environment. We focus on individual development plans, emotional support, and life skills education, all while maintaining the highest standards of care and safeguarding.
We work closely with local schools and education specialists to ensure each child receives appropriate academic support. Our homes provide dedicated study spaces, homework assistance, and additional tutoring when needed. We also encourage extracurricular activities that promote personal growth.
All our staff have the manditory training required and are fully qualified with relevant children residential care qualifications (minimum Level 3 with some working towards level 4). They receive ongoing professional development, specialised trauma-informed care training, and maintain up-to-date safeguarding certifications.
We facilitate regular family contact in line with care plans and local authority guidelines. This includes supervised visits, phone calls, and video chats when appropriate. Our staff work to maintain positive relationships with families while ensuring the child's wellbeing remains the priority.
We provide specialised support tailored to each child's needs, working with healthcare professionals, therapists, and educational specialists. Our homes are adapted as required, and staff receive specific training to support children with various physical, emotional, or behavioral needs.
Our independence program starts early, teaching age-appropriate life skills from budgeting to cooking. As young people approach transition age, we provide dedicated support with education, employment, and housing options, ensuring they have the skills and confidence for independent living.
